Should Abortion be illegal(1)

In article ”Legal or Not, Abortion Rates Compare” by Elizabeth Rosenthal, it provides many statistic from the countries which the law of abortion is legal or illegal. Dr. Paul Van Look, director of the W.H.O. Department of Reproductive Health and Research is a pro of abortion legal, and he think that whether the law of abortion is legal or not, as long as women is pregnant unplannedly, they will have an abortion. On the other hand, the cons of abortion argue that the statistics are not fair because of the reason that the figures are from the developed countries which have better medical condition, and how about the developing coutries. The medical condition is unsafe for those who search for abortion. However, some countries which has passed the law of abortion are surely to decrease the death in mortality among women who had abortions


In my opinion, if we consider the women who have been pregnant and plan to have an abortion, they best way is to have a safe precedure to do the surgery. However, after reading this article, I consider that the factors of passing the law is not only about the go aborting legally but also about the safe and complete medical condition such as qualified doctors and hosipitals. Otherwise, the law passing is merely like a bomb for the right of women.
