In the article Gay Couple Adopting Child by Angela (http://www.echeat.com/essay.php?t=26502), the author suggests that gay couples shouldn’t adopt children. She says gay couples adoption will create an ambiguous gender identified environment to their adopted children and probably causes children’s misunderstanding of tradition social values. In addition, author suggests gay parents are abnormal and immortal which will probably lead to discrimination and bully from heterosexual parents raised children. On the other hand, author points out the religious views of gay adoption, the author claims” Many religions and cultural practices term homosexuality as a crime.” ,“ A neighborhood with such an environment will pile up discrimination and pressure on the gay parents and the children.” and thinks gay couples will stay away from religious practices and social events. To sum up, the author strongly recommands that gay couples are parentally unsuitable.
In my opnion, the views of the author in this article are too arbitrary. Her views content a preconcieved discrimination toward not only moral standard of queer couples, but also upbringing capability and donation love toward their children, which are unfair. As a matter of fact, every two in love with each other should have the right to form a family, including gay couples. Why their affection should be questiond? Hence they have their rights to form a family, then they should have all rights and be able to compose their family with all elements a family should have, which include children. I believe gay couples should have legally certificated with their children adoptions if they want to. After all, as the most constitution of demorcracy government claims that everyone is born equal and should have their rights to pesue their happiness.
